About the Role

Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support our customers, the US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) and US Army Europe (USAREUR). The successful candidate will work closely with customers and staff in support of multiple projects, coordinating and completing tasks on time, within budget, and scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, analyze, model, test, and simulate communications systems, subsystems, and electronic signals for communication networks, data links, digital radio, battle management, and command and control systems.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Program Management aspects of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms supporting DOD contracts.
  • Maintain smooth operation of local area, world-wide, and virtual private networks (VPN).
  • Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
  • Integrate requirements across tactical, operational, and strategic levels of operations which include direct support to the planning and operations staff to identify requirements for ISR capabilities of customer's Mobile Digital Infrastructure (MDI) that our team can provide to the Government.
  • Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders. Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings in support of the company and client objectives.

Requirements

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Prior project management and development of new customer requirements.
  • Integration of systems and processes.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program Management experience with either Air Force or Space programs.
  • Experience supporting USAFE-AFAFRICA.
  • Candidate already resides in Europe.
