We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Leader to join our team at Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. as Vice President Procurement Industrial Vacuum Division.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Divisional Sourcing Strategy: Contribute to the growth of the division by further developing and implementing the Divisional Sourcing Strategy, supported by the vision of "First in mind, First in choice".
- Ensure World-Class Supply Chain Management: Ensure world-class supply chain management for the Industrial Vacuum Division and Industrial Vacuum Product Companies, and continuously develop and manage the supply chains in line with the divisional strategy of local to local, risk mitigation, and the divisional operational model.
- Develop and Lead a Successful Team: Develop and lead a successful team of cohesive, competent, committed, and result-oriented people.
- Interact with Divisional Peers and Stakeholders: Interact trustfully and result-oriented with your divisional peers, the General Managers of the PCs, and the local teams, as well as with other Divisions, mainly in General Vacuum.
- Cooperate in the Procurement Council: Cooperate proactively in the Procurement Council of the VTBA as a member or leader.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or business administration.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement/Supply Chain or similar functions, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with minimum 5 years in a strategic role or experience in developing strategies.
- Skills: Cost analysis and supply market intelligence, excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization, both internally and with suppliers, track record improving supply chains, supplier relationships, and performance, full fluency in English written and spoken, strong interaction with stakeholders and leadership, self-motivated personality with emphatic leadership style, and willingness to travel as required by business conditions and strategies.
