Job Title: Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)

Glatfelter, a leading global supplier of technical materials, is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team at our production site in Steinfurt.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair our production equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fire alarm systems, boilers, and compressors. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of systems and machines, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fire alarm systems, boilers, and compressors
  • Repair and maintenance of individual machine components, especially on maintenance days
  • Building maintenance and upkeep
  • Continuous monitoring of machine functionality through online warehouse monitoring
  • Implementation of projects and initiatives to improve production efficiency
  • Inspection of water treatment systems
Requirements:
  • Completed training as an industrial mechanic or comparable technical vocational training
  • Relevant professional experience and technical understanding
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team
  • Reliable and careful work habits
