Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team in Bremerhaven, Germany. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines without supervision.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems of offshore wind turbines
- Troubleshooting common, recurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of offshore wind turbines
- Providing on-the-job training and evaluating the competency and quality of trainees and maintenance technicians
- Leading small teams and ensuring the safety, competency, and productivity of team members
- Maintaining records, documenting technical issues, and reporting to relevant personnel
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A successfully completed electrical education or training (according to German regulations)
- Several years of experience working in the wind sector, preferably offshore
- Offshore readiness according to GWO standards
- Advanced understanding of electrical and mechanical systems of all turbine components and systems
- Proactive and independent work style
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility in regards to shift work and site location
- Advanced understanding of IT systems
The estimated salary range for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
