Siemens Gamesa is a global leader in the wind industry, and we're seeking a skilled Wind Energy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Business Unit Service, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore wind turbines.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Status and risk reporting to relevant stakeholders
  • Performing scheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines without supervision
  • Identifying and troubleshooting common, recurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Providing on-job qualification training and evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures
  • Leading small teams and ensuring the safety, competency, and productivity of team members
  • Maintaining records, documentation, and reporting technical and safety issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record of experience as a Troubleshooter or similar role
  • Sound working experience within the wind industry, preferably in the offshore environment
  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works on DD platforms
  • Ability to work offshore in shift patterns and willingness to take helicopter training
  • Strong intercultural skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
