Key Responsibilities:- Design and development of complex electronics, including high frequency and high voltage circuits, in a highly motivated, multinational and interdisciplinary team
- Participation in product development teams and project planning
- Define and perform measurements for feasibilities and work on concepts to bring early prototypes into production
- Installation and test of developed electronics on mass spectrometers
- On-the-bench and in-system design verification
- Simulations and calculation of performance of the proposed design during the concept phase
- Usage of modern simulation tools to reach the next higher level of performance, efficiency and robustness
- Coordinate development tasks with external project partners, internal partners, and service providers
- University degree in electrical engineering or related fields
- Many years of professional experience in designing analog electronics, preferably including high voltage and/or high frequency electronics
- Strong scientific background for being well-rounded and capable of independently conducting feasibility studies
- Experience in Product Development Practices, Processes and Tools, preferably in the context of sophisticated analytical instruments
- Experience in low volume, high-value large complex systems such as scientific instrumentation, medical devices, or semiconductor process systems is highly preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits and in conducting root cause analysis on PCBA and system level
- Experience in lateral leadership desirable
