About the Role

Mercedes-Benz AG is a leading global supplier of premium and luxury vehicles, renowned for its innovative approach to customer experiences. To maintain and enhance its position, the company is constantly seeking new innovations and technologies.

We, the IT department of Mercedes-Benz Vans, are seeking a Master's student to contribute to the technical development of a virtual product configuration platform based on Nvidia Omniverse. This platform will consist of internal and external sub-products, requiring a comprehensive analysis of existing platforms, creation of a specification sheet, and technical structure development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of existing platforms to identify features and technical implementations
  • Creation of a specification sheet for the envisioned platform, highlighting unique selling points
  • Technical structure development of the platform, incorporating analyzed implementations and new solutions
Requirements
  • Master's student in IT, game design, engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of CAD and xR technologies
  • Experience with game engines, such as Unity or Unreal, and Nvidia Omniverse
  • Programming skills in Python
  • Business fluency in German and English
  • High degree of creativity and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
