The Opportunity

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Virtual Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the virtual aspects of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement virtual infrastructure solutions using cloud virtualization technologies
  • Develop and maintain virtualized data center infrastructure, including Cisco NEXUS products, Cisco UCS, and VMware ESXi
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of virtual infrastructure with other IT systems
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in virtual infrastructure and cloud computing
Requirements
  • 11+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining virtual aspects of IT infrastructure
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying Cisco ACI and HCI solutions
  • Experience with software-defined networking
  • Experience with automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
  • Top Secret clearance
  • CompTIA CASP+ certification
  • Citrix certification
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation certification
  • CCIE Data Center certification
  • VMWare NSX certification
