Team Leader in Finance & Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the "Finance and Risk Management" team comprising 13 members
  • Manage financial oversight functions such as profit and loss statements, strategic planning, forecasting, monthly financial reporting, profit/cost assessments, variance evaluations, and implementing corrective measures
  • Supervise enterprise risk management, focusing on operational risks, internal control frameworks, business continuity strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee general administrative services related to the company (e.g., travel arrangements, procurement processes, authorization lists)
  • Innovate methods, processes, and supporting IT systems to enhance operational efficiency

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in economics or natural sciences
  • Extensive experience in risk management and/or financial oversight within asset management, financial services, banking, insurance, or consulting/audit sectors
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Ability to think and act across functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to foster a motivating work environment with effective communication
  • Proficiency in both English and German
