Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik. The successful candidate will be part of our research group focused on beam physics and will contribute to the development and operation of our test facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in experiments at the BATMAN Upgrade and ELISE test facilities
  • Operate and maintain beam diagnostics on the BATMAN Upgrade and compare data with ELISE
  • Contribute to experimental programs for systematic measurement of beam properties
  • Develop and upgrade diagnostic systems
  • Summarize and present results in meetings, conferences, and reports
  • Collaborate with European partners, particularly with NBTF
