Job Description

TEICON ENGINEERING is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer (m/w/d) for our team in Beckum, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and program SPS and visualization systems for various machines.
  • Develop and implement process control systems for large-scale plants.
  • Create and maintain system and order documentation.
  • Assess the technical feasibility of customer requirements and find solutions in close collaboration with project management.
  • Perform functional tests and provide on-site customer training and consulting.
  • Perform global and unrestricted service and commissioning activities for the developed applications.
Requirements
  • Completed technical studies or technical school in automation technology or equivalent training.
  • Engagement and performance commitment.
  • Team-oriented work style.
  • High level of mobility and willingness to travel worldwide.
  • Several years of experience with SPS-based automation, with a focus on Siemens S7 / WinCC / TIA-Portal and Rockwell FactoryTalk ME / Rockwell RSLogix5000.
  • Several years of experience with process control systems, with a focus on Siemens PCS 7 / Rockwell FactoryTalk SE.
  • Knowledge of programming languages C++, C, Visual Basic, and Visual Studio is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using common Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent English skills in writing and speaking, with knowledge of another foreign language being an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously and to present themselves confidently and competently to our customers.
