Bertrandt is seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and programming cutting-edge automation solutions for diverse industrial applications.

• Develop and implement PLC and visualization systems tailored to the specific needs of thyssenkrupp machinery.
• Design, integrate, and program sophisticated process control systems for large-scale manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure technical feasibility of customer requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
• Create comprehensive system documentation and order specifications, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct rigorous functional testing to validate the performance and reliability of automation solutions.
• Provide expert training and consultations to clients on the operation and maintenance of plant systems.

• Possess a completed technical degree or specialized training in automation engineering.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in PLC-controlled automation, proficient in Siemens S7 / WinCC / TIA-Portal and Rockwell FactoryTalk ME / Rockwell RSLogix5000.
• Showcase proven expertise in process control systems, particularly Siemens PCS 7 / Rockwell FactoryTalk SE.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C, Visual Basic, and Visual Studio is highly advantageous.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to customer service and willingness to travel globally for commissioning projects and on-site support.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally; additional foreign language proficiency is a valuable asset.
