Quantum Software Developer

At Universal Quantum, we're pushing the boundaries of computer technology to create a better world. Our team of scientists and engineers is working on developing quantum computers that can solve complex problems previously thought impossible. We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of software across the entire stack, from hardware to end-user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of physicists and applied scientists to design and develop operational systems for our quantum machines
- Work closely with our engineers to run experiments on the quantum machine and its components
- Write high-quality, reliable software to interface with our custom FPGA-based electronics
- Develop efficient algorithms for execution within the constraints of low-memory or resource-constrained computers
- Design, test, and deploy software across our heterogeneous, multi-node, Linux-based cluster
- Develop Ethernet-based communication protocols for low-latency control and data transfer within our networks
- Strong programming experience in Python and at least one of C/C++, Rust, or Golang across the software stack
- Experience in designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining, and profiling commercial-quality software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
