We are seeking a skilled IT Consultant to join our team at Boston Consulting Group, a leading management consulting firm. As an IT Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping the digital transformation of our clients, a globally leading companies.

Job Summary

As an IT Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to evaluate their digital capabilities, develop and optimize cutting-edge IT architectures, and implement strategic IT solutions. You will be responsible for managing small, agile development teams in strategic IT implementation programs, establishing modern practices like DevOps and CI/CD, and ensuring the technical implementation of crucial digital requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate digital capabilities and perform feasibility studies to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Manage small, agile development teams in strategic IT implementation programs, establishing modern practices like DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Analyze, develop, and optimize cutting-edge, customized IT architectures, applying your comprehensive understanding of legacy IT, enterprise solutions, and current market developments and trends.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in computer science, informatics, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Have gained first practical experience in the IT world, e.g., via internships or student jobs.
  • Have initial knowledge of IT consulting, modern tools, and technology trends.
  • Be comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts, and be flexible and willing to travel.
  • Be able to understand and communicate complex topics in both German and English.
