CrossConsulting is an independent management consultancy specializing in financial service providers, including banks and insurance companies. As part of a group encompassing a company builder, venture capitalist, and HR services provider, we collaborate with approximately 40 consultants to serve clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

We specialize in strategy and transformation projects, not only designing but also implementing them.

Your Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving digitalization and process optimization initiatives within the banking sector, particularly focusing on areas such as credit, securities, and payments.

  • Project Expertise: Participate actively in digitalization and process optimization projects, providing valuable insights and contributions to our clients' success.
  • Business Analysis & Engineering: Support project managers by assuming the role of a business analyst/engineer, ensuring seamless collaboration between business departments and IT.
  • Requirements Management: Conduct comprehensive requirements management, encompassing gathering, analyzing, specifying, and prioritizing business needs at the interface between business units and IT.
  • Digital Transformation Guidance: Advise and guide our clients in developing their digital target processes, adopting an end-to-end perspective to ensure holistic transformation.
  • Client Focus & Solution Orientation: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to client goals, coupled with a strong solution and implementation orientation.
Your Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for driving digital transformation within the financial services industry.

  • Academic Background: Possess a successful degree in business or engineering (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics).
  • Banking Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of banking processes, particularly in credit, securities, and payments.
  • IT Proficiency: Combine your expertise with a broad understanding of IT processes, ideally encompassing areas such as service-oriented architecture, API management, cloud technology, or similar technologies.
  • Methodological Skills: Exhibit methodological knowledge in process analysis, business analysis, test management, and creating functional concepts or IT specifications.
  • Project Management Experience: Possess experience working with various project management styles (e.g., agile project management).
  • Teamwork & Communication: Demonstrate a willingness to embrace new challenges within a consulting environment, enjoy teamwork, and possess excellent communication skills.
