About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Amazon Support Services Germany GmbH - I46. As a key member of our Pre-Construction team, you will play a crucial role in the development, design, and construction of our logistics projects across European countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, cross-functional industrial projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
  • Coordinate with design teams and project stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Oversee professional service providers to ensure their skills and competencies meet project requirements.
  • Negotiate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Estimate costs, manage due diligence, schedule tracking, and forecasting to ensure project success.
  • Supervise the implementation and management of Amazon's safety programs and standards.
  • Drive accountability for results and insist on the highest standards from yourself and others.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in project management, real estate development, architecture/design.
  • Master's degree in architecture, engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
  • Experience operating within at least two disciplines in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated capability in the planning, design review & implementation, and project management/control of new structures & the enhancement of existing facility buildings.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated success in communicating to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
