Amazon Support Services Germany GmbH - I46 is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction engineering, planning, and design for Amazon Delivery Stations and other new or expansion projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, real estate development, and architecture/design. Fluency in German and English is required, and flexibility to travel up to 40% across projects in Europe is essential.

The Construction Manager will play a key role in the development and implementation of the EU network infrastructure. This includes analyzing and evaluating different facility scenarios and build-out designs, as well as supporting the standardization of technical and facility-related processes and systems.

The role requires a person who can show proven ability in the planning and design, and project management/control of new and the enhancement of existing facility buildings. The Construction Manager will be responsible for preparing reports, specifications, technical analysis, and providing technical direction within engineering design/AutoCAD, building design, layouts, build details, schedules, and materials.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for surveying facilities, developing and documenting procedures to audit the facility, providing evaluations and analysis, and recommending solutions to facility infrastructure, safety, and security problems involving facilities and people.

Additionally, the Construction Manager will negotiate contracts with vendors, present formal documentation for approval when required, and ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a strong track record of project management experience. A Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or an MBA is preferred. Fluency in French, Polish, Arabic, or Turkish is also considered a plus.
