ESG Sustainability Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an ESG Sustainability Analyst Intern at MetrikFlow. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our sustainability professionals and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the consulting and research teams on corporate, product, and supply chain sustainability issues, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
  • Source relevant datasets and statistics to support calculation models.
  • Complete ad-hoc calculations as required to support sustainability projects.
  • Keep organized records to support results with clear data structuring and management of files.
  • Communicate results clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Carefully document research and work progress and maintain documents in proper locations.
  • Assist in editing, compiling reports, and presentations, and related deliverables.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, Material Science, Sustainability, or Resource & Energy management.
  • Skills in consulting, project management, and research are a plus.
  • Willingness to take full ownership of projects/tasks and their KPIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Google Workspace apps.
  • Familiarity with GHG, LCIA methods and software is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn & improve at a rapid pace.
  • Independent worker with little demand for direction.
  • Professional knowledge of English in both written and oral.
  • Ready to work at least 20 hours per week - ideally 40 hours per week.
