Technical Assistant for Personalized Immunotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Technical Assistant to join our team at the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) in Mainz. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing laboratory operations and contributing to our research and development efforts in the field of personalized immunotherapy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including cell culture, molecular biology, and cellular manipulation
- Support the development and implementation of new processes and methodologies
- Assume responsibility for logistical and administrative duties in the lab, such as equipment maintenance and supply procurement
- Education as a technical assistant or biology laboratory technician
- Proficiency in standard molecular and cell biology techniques
- Experience in cultivating and engineering primary human cells and mammalian cells
- Familiarity with immune profiling using flow cytometry and/or microscopy techniques
- Desirable prior exposure to animal experimentation in immuno-oncology
- Experience in laboratory management
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal
