Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at our Altenpflegezentrum St. Josefshaus in Nordhausen. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring that they receive the highest quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for residents, following established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a clean and safe environment
- Manage food inventory and supplies, ordering and receiving deliveries as needed
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal service
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience for residents
- Education and training in culinary arts or a related field
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a senior care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
