Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at our Altenpflegezentrum St. Josefshaus in Nordhausen. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, following established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a clean and safe environment
  • Manage food inventory and supplies, ordering as needed
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service
  • Participate in menu planning and development to ensure that meals meet the dietary needs of our residents
Requirements
  • Education and training in culinary arts or a related field
  • Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a senior care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed
