About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Lead to join our team in the Cable Sector. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new high voltage products and improving existing ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the R&D team in creating new high voltage components and improving existing products.
  • Manage the complete product development process, from initial concept to final production, ensuring adherence to technical standards and meeting customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, project management, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technical standards, and regulatory guidelines to ensure both compliance and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies.
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting updates on projects, research outcomes, and strategic plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Significant experience in designing high voltage products, particularly high voltage accessories.
  • Demonstrated success in leading an R&D team within a global context.
  • A deep understanding of industry standards and technical regulations for high voltage products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven ability to inspire and guide a team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
