Lead Consultant in Financial Advisory (w/m/d)

Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to actively participate in the digital transformation and consulting of financial institutions while gaining valuable insights into strategy, risk management, compliance, or technology consulting within the Financial Services sector, we offer you various entry opportunities:

  • In strategic consulting, you will advise banks, insurance companies, and asset managers on topics such as establishing new banks, sustainability/ESG issues, cost and process optimization projects, and the development and operationalization of strategies in the context of strategic realignments.
  • If your strengths lie in specialized consulting in finance, risk, and compliance, you will engage in areas such as risk management, developing and implementing integrated risk and performance management systems, and building quantitative risk models.
  • If you are more inclined towards IT and digital consulting, you will have the opportunity to:
    • Shape the digital transformation in financial institutions using methodologies like design thinking or project management approaches.
    • Enhance IT architecture environments in banking control areas.
    • Advise the CIO on realizing transformation through the analysis and implementation of architectural models, IT governance, IT security, or IT cost management.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant in Financial Advisory (w/m/d) at KPMG, you should possess a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, (business) informatics, (business) mathematics, natural sciences, law, or a comparable field.
  • You should have several years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting firm or the financial sector.
  • Preferably, you bring initial project management and leadership experience.
  • A proficient command of standard MS Office applications is required.
  • You should have fluent German and English language skills and be willing to travel to provide on-site consulting to our clients.
