Risk Controlling Analyst

Finance in Motion is a global impact asset manager dedicated to sustainable development in low and middle-income countries. We are seeking an Analyst in Risk Controlling to join our Risk Management Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reporting for our funds, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with stakeholders.
- Monitor and control risk diversification limits for all funds, aligning with Issue Documents and Fund policies.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating regular external fund audits.
- Prepare and coordinate regular risk committees, ensuring effective decision-making.
- Contribute to and coordinate workstreams in projects related to risk management tools, processes, or systems.
- Maintain and support Risk Management systems, tools, and databases.
- Establish, maintain, and document new and existing internal and cross-departmental procedures.
- Contribute to the development, testing, calibration, and validation of risk management models and methodologies.
- University degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in risk management, risk reporting, and data management, system analysis, and/or business process optimization in the banking or asset management industry.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with financial accounting of banks and/or other financial institutions.
- Good knowledge of the R language for data analysis and automation (or equivalent Python experience).
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly advanced user of Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL), and additional VBA / DAX / Power Query skills would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong team-motivation, hands-on mentality, coupled with a diligent, proactive working attitude, and an open communication style.
