The Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics is seeking a highly skilled Detector Test Specialist to join our team in the development and qualification of the Wide Field Imager (WFI) instrument for the Athena space mission.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional to implement and characterize DEPFET sensors within the WFI instrument. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and testing the detectors, ensuring they meet the demanding scientific requirements of the Athena WFI.

Key Responsibilities:
