Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Optical Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the field of optics and audiology, working closely with our experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and fitting of eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Conduct basic audiology tests and provide recommendations for hearing aids and other assistive devices
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Basic knowledge of optics and audiology principles
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
