Job Summary:

The Admissions Navigator will be responsible for reviewing initial Residency Declaration documents, verifying information through various sources, and determining student eligibility for in-state tuition. This role will also involve evaluating high school and GED transcripts, posting developmental education exemptions, and assessing official college/university transcripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify residency declarations and determine student eligibility for in-state tuition
  • Evaluate high school and GED transcripts for developmental education exemptions
  • Assess official college/university transcripts and post exemptions as necessary
  • Review and post official test scores for AP, Cambridge AICE, CLEP, IB, DSST, and Excelsior College Exams
  • Evaluate foreign and military credentials, exemption credit by certification, and other alternative credit options

Requirements:

  • A standard high school diploma or general equivalency diploma
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible clerical experience
  • Knowledge of TCC policies and procedures, TCC Admissions & Records/College Registrar policies, and the Family Rights and Privacy Act
  • Ability to handle a multi-line telephone, manage office support staff, and coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and effectively, both verbally and in writing
