Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Independently handling general accounting tasks in accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment verification.
- Overseeing and reviewing the accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Communicating with suppliers and banks to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, as well as participating in audit and tax compliance processes.
- Serving as a liaison between accounting teams and providing support for various projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance, and at least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and a solid understanding of accounting processes.
- Basic knowledge of tax law, particularly in the area of differential taxation, and proficiency in German and English.
- A strong understanding of business values, including being ambitious, empathetic, engaged, service-oriented, and having a high level of attention to detail.
