Job Title: Senior Application Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our sensor business unit, you will be responsible for supporting our customers and partners with technical inquiries, product documentation, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application specialist for Renesas CO2 Sensors, providing technical support and guidance to customers and partners.
  • Support technical inquiries for the sensor team, focusing on hardware and software aspects.
  • Generate technical product documentation, including user guides and training materials.
  • Support sensor business unit in providing product, technical, and application-specific trainings to Sales and customers/partners as well as distribution.
  • Support the R&D team for the next sensor generations.
  • Setup and support field and laboratory tests of environmental sensors.
  • Support FA Analyses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensors.
  • Relevant educational background in electronics.
  • Skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Python).
  • Experienced in PCB design and layout is an added advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with customer requests and doing technical presentations.
  • Good communication and technical reporting skills, both written and oral.
  • Fluent in German and English language (B2+).
  • Travel is required (
