Job Title: Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team at The Technology Recruitment Group. As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our client, a multinational chemical company, in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers in analyzing and resolving issues related to product applications in installed systems.
  • Collaborate with account managers, engineers, and product managers to gather information on application usage and product operations.
  • Develop technical elements of proposals and formulate guidelines for account manager support.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to monitor their activities and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and resolve engineering issues related to product application at customer sites.
  • Prepare records, data, and documents for product presentations and conduct training sessions to demonstrate new products.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, engineering, and R&D teams to design products and formulate performance according to customer needs.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and meetings to promote products, gather market intelligence, and network with customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in semiconductor processes.
  • Degree in Physics or Chemistry or a similar discipline.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 50%).
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
