The Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie in Berlin is a leading research institute in molecular pharmacology, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment with cutting-edge facilities for research and employees from around the world.
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Broichhagen Lab, Section Chemical Biology. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of accomplishment in spectroscopy and microscopy, with a proven interest in building and establishing new microscopic techniques.
The position is funded by an ERC Starting Grant and focuses on novel imaging applications in primary cells and tissue with minimal biomolecule labeling intervention to study drug uptake and metabolism in health and disease.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious young scientist with a Ph.D. in a relevant area (e.g., chemistry, physics, cell biology) and a strong background in microscopical imaging techniques (e.g., confocal light microscopy, STED, STORM, Raman spectroscopy).
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a high personal motivation to excel in science. The working language is English.

Compensation is in accordance with the TVöD Bund (German public service) salary scale. Social benefits correspond to those of the public service.
