Research Scientist in EPR Spectroscopy

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at the Excellence Cluster UniSysCat. As a Research Scientist in EPR Spectroscopy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing novel detection schemes for paramagnetic species under operando conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize pulsed and time-resolved EPR methods to investigate molecular catalysts and biological enzyme samples
- Collaborate with other groups within UniSysCat to exchange knowledge and expertise
- Implement novel detection schemes into existing EPR spectrometers
Requirements:
- University degree in physics, chemistry, or electrical engineering
- Doctoral degree in one of these areas
Desirable Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in application EPR spectroscopy
- Experience in investigation of paramagnetic metal centers, catalysts, and metalloenzymes by EPR
- Experience in working with thin films and film substrate samples
