Key Responsibilities:

  • You will independently prepare and review financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • You will be responsible for the accurate recording of all business transactions and the clarification of accounting issues in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • You will post additions and disposals of fixed assets and financial assets, and prepare the statement of changes in fixed assets.
  • You will create inventory lists for the asset inventory and post the inventory results.
  • You will prepare monthly advance VAT returns and other statistical reports.
  • You will be happy to work on projects in the area of finance and accounting.
  • You will serve as the contact person for auditors.

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training as an accountant or successfully completed a degree with a focus on finance and business administration.
  • You have several years of professional experience in balance sheet accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • You have good knowledge of the SAP FI-GL module (experience with SAP S/4Hana desirable) and are adept at using the MS Office package, especially Excel.
  • You have a very good command of German and English (written and spoken).
  • You have a high affinity for numbers, a structured and analytical way of working, and strong teamwork skills.
  • You have a sense of responsibility, commitment, reliability, and discretion.
