Job Mission:

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Project Leader to support the growth of our Automotive market by leading various projects in line with our strategy roadmap. As part of our Automotive Market segment team and reporting to the Automotive Segment manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing innovation projects to develop new polyamide solutions for automotive applications.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute innovation projects to develop new polyamide solutions for automotive applications.
  • Organize project team meetings and project reviews with management to define project deliverables, lead times, and resources.
  • Support customers facing teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical expectations.
  • Develop technical support and expertise for addressing new applications and new technologies.
  • Participate in raw material surveys and support the raw material manager and purchasing team on the homologation of new raw materials.
  • Support other regions on topics linked to new local product development.
Your Profile:
  • Ph.D or Master in polymer Science, Material Science, or Chemistry.
  • Good knowledge in polymer properties, technical plastics formulation, and analyses for characterizing plastic materials.
  • At least 5 years of experience in plastics formulation for injection moulding.
  • Project lead and transverse management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with different functions within the organization.
