Job Description

Nexans is a global leader in energy transition, committed to electrifying the future. As a Project Manager Onshore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of onshore cable installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in the field of onshore cable installation, ensuring the project is executed according to contractual specifications, time schedules, and budget.
  • Take ownership of project execution, ensuring adherence to internal processes, profitability requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, optimize project execution, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Support the Project Manager in reporting to the customer and ensure a satisfied customer experience.
  • Interface with other contractual partners within the project, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in onshore installation and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to write and speak fluently.
  • Experience in trading and finance, with a strong understanding of customer and market areas.
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently.
  • High sense of responsibility, with a strong quality awareness and leadership qualities.
