About the Opportunity

The ZEISS Group is embarking on a transformative journey to standardize and regularize its business processes globally, leveraging the power of SAP S/4HANA. As a key player in this initiative, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the organization and drive business excellence.

Your Role

As a Business Expert S/4 HANA Master Data Management EMEA Hub, you will be responsible for managing business requirements and designing process adaptations to ensure seamless integration with the global template SAP S/4HANA system. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving harmonization and standardization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage regional/segment-specific business requirements, including business roles and data design, in the context of the global template SAP S/4HANA system.
  • Drive adaptation of end-to-end business processes towards FIT4 goals of harmonization and standardization, and liaise with entity business experts on preparatory work, such as data cleansing.
  • Provide guidance and steer junior hub business experts in requirements analysis, business process modeling, and test case design.
  • Design and own test cases, and conduct functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system.
  • Actively contribute to the roll-in of assigned roll-in projects in a region, mainly within a segment, and, if deemed necessary by regional hub-lead, also across SBUs/segments.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials, and, if required, support end-user training.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • > 2 years of relevant professional experience with reference in Master Data Management – longer experience welcome, assignments will grow with you.
  • In-depth understanding of Master Data Management, including Material master data, Business partner master data, and Management of master data for variant configuration.
  • Proven experience with business requirements management and design of business processes.
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems.
  • Relevant industry knowledge.
  • Excellent conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global teams.
  • Business fluent in English and an additional language.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, with occasional overnight travel and weekend work.
