Global Customs Strategist

As a key member of the Zumtobel Group, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global customs strategy. This includes operationally steering import-export operations, tariff classifications, and AEO certification, while ensuring compliance with current international and national laws and tax regulations.
Manage Internal ProcessesYou will implement global customs procedures, coordinate corrective actions, and align with various teams, including tax, legal, finance, sales, and logistics. Your goal will be to ensure seamless customs and export control processes across the organization.
Lead and Guide a TeamBy providing mentorship and professional support in customs matters, you will empower your team to grow professionally while ensuring proficiency in global customs and export processes. You will manage audits, train, and maintain a high level of competency in customs & export control knowledge across the organization.
Experienced Customs & Export Control ExpertYou will have a comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations and export control, backed by 5-7 years' experience. A bachelor's degree or higher education in a relevant field or a dedicated customs-specific program is required.
Empathetic Stakeholder ManagementYou will be skilled in engaging with internal stakeholders and official authorities, effectively navigating diverse relationships while understanding risks and ensuring compliance with established rules.
Fluent in German & EnglishYou will be fluent in German and English, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures.
