Operations Director

As an Operations Manager at Via, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our on-demand public transport services in the Frankfurt region. You will be the primary point of contact for our local team and partners, responsible for centralizing and automating processes to achieve key performance indicators.
This role is also known as Field Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our on-demand public transport services, ensuring high-quality passenger transport.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve revenue and quality targets.
- Lead the local field team to establish operationally stable and scalable processes.
- Work closely with central operations teams to ensure excellent quality of service.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes based on feedback from passengers, drivers, and partners.
- Contribute to the expansion of Via's service, focusing on topics such as depot establishment, charging infrastructure, driver recruitment and training, and vehicle equipping.
- At least 4 years of experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing needs.
- A quick learner with a solution-oriented approach to complex issues.
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and technical topics.
- Fluent German language skills (C1 level) and excellent English language skills.
- A valid driver's license in Germany (class B).
