Key Responsibilities- Lead the architecture and design of telecommunications systems based on 3GPP standards, ensuring compliance and interoperability
- Customize and extend existing protocol specifications to address specific project needs, incorporating new features and functionalities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement protocol customization requirements
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of protocol performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in 3GPP standards and telecommunications technologies, integrating relevant developments into our projects and solutions
- Extensive experience in telecommunications, with a focus on 3GPP standards and protocols
- Proven expertise in protocol customization, including hands-on experience with modifying and extending protocol specifications
- Strong understanding of wireless communication principles, including radio access networks (RAN), core network (CN), and protocols such as LTE, NR, and 5G
- Familiar with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) concepts
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python for protocol customization and implementation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize protocol performance
- Effective communication skills and demonstrated leadership experience
- Experienced in waterfall and agile methodologies
