Internship in Strategy & Projects: Consultant in Global Supply Chain Logistics (all genders)

The Strategy & Projects team invites you to contribute to the transformation of Bayer AG's Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health Division's supply chain. We oversee a range of pivotal projects, crafting strategies to ensure our Supply Chain delivers optimal service while maintaining compliance and resilience at the most efficient cost. Our work encompasses both strategic and operational challenges, focusing on network structure, processes & organization, digitalization, and sustainability. You will gain profound insights into Bayer's logistics, from product manufacturing to warehousing and distribution to our clients.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with a project team, focusing on strategy, network, processes, organization, and IT solutions.
  • Assist the team with project-related tasks while managing your own responsibilities.
  • Support strategic assessments and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop detailed analyses and participate in workshops, interviews, or research.
  • Contribute ideas and implement suggestions to enhance daily operations.
  • Gain valuable insights into the daily functions of a global logistics department within a life sciences organization.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering, ideally with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated motivation, interest, and initial experience in supply chain management and transportation & warehousing.
  • Experience in project management within an international context is preferred.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint); familiarity with analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically, and in a structured manner.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with international colleagues across various functions and disciplines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
