We are a regionally active, certified provider of social services, understanding ourselves as a companion for people with special support needs. We are currently looking for a social worker with experience in the field of individual support for a kindergarten in Hildesheim. The position is part-time (30 hours).

Tasks
  • Accompany and assist a client in the daily routine of the kindergarten
  • Provide structuring aids (e.g. practical assistance, temporal/spatial orientation)
  • Assistance in communication and social behavior (promoting togetherness, conflict resolution, explaining social rules, interpreting body language and reactions of other people, recognizing emotional needs)
  • Support in shaping social relationships in the kindergarten, e.g. in assessing danger situations
  • Support in communication and the transmission of rules and their observance
  • Strengthening social competence

Further tasks belong to individual support:

  • Implementation of the pedagogical guidelines of the kindergarten
  • Parental work and interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Takeover of administrative tasks: creation of the semi-annual development report, participation in help plan meetings, documentation of the measure
Qualifications
  • Experience in the pedagogical field or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in working with children and young people, ideally in school contexts
  • High social competence and empathy
  • Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Flexibility and resilience in challenging situations
