Data Engineering Expert for Global E-commerce Platform

We are seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to join our remote team in the Philippines. This role offers a unique opportunity to architect and maintain a cutting-edge cloud-based data platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
About the CompanyOur client is a leading global commerce advertising platform, connecting over 5,500 publishers, 55,000 advertisers, and 100+ networks across 160+ countries. In 2022, they generated 3.5 billion tracked links for their publishers, resulting in upwards of 2+ billion in additional e-commerce sales for their advertisers.
The company brings campaign messages closer to content, creating value for publishers, advertisers, and users alike through the use of smart tools, technologies, and formats.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain data storage and processing infrastructure using modern tools and technologies.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring high-quality results.
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Airflow, Airbyte, or dbt, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and reliability through comprehensive validation and testing.
- Act as a liaison between data and other internal teams, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years' experience in a data engineering or data-centric software engineering role.
- Proficient in Python, particularly in building data pipelines and interacting with REST APIs, relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with data warehousing, data processing, and pipeline building using modern tools and technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
