Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at PharmaLex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining IT systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, and wireless implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and server virtualization;
- Administer and develop the SAN infrastructure;
- Ensure streamlined operation of the PharmaLex IT systems;
- Review, categorize, and prioritize IT tickets from Cencora PharmaLex staff;
- Coordinate and track ticket resolution;
- Manage IT assets, including inventory and documentation;
- Collaborate with the Team Leader IT and other departments to identify and implement cost-effective technology solutions;
- Contribute to the design of IT operations and service functions and processes;
- Administer connections to customer systems;
- Perform backup administrator duties, including configuring, managing, and monitoring backup solutions;
- Manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery;
- Standardize, manage, and expand the software tool portfolio;
- Manage and optimize licenses;
- Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software;
- Provide training on IT-related SOPs and WIs;
- Ensure compliance with IT security requirements;
- Contribute to the maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least some experience in a small-and-medium-enterprise environment;
- Fluency in German and English;
- Technical hands-on knowledge of PLx key technologies;
- Microsoft Windows Server, Linux Server;
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Entra ID;
- Network - Routing - Firewall;
- IT Security;
- Server virtualization - VMWare;
- Practical knowledge of IT service processes (ITIL);
- Understanding of current IT infrastructure issues and solutions;
- Experience in cooperating with IT service providers;
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
- Ability to organize operational procedures and manage multiple critical issues;
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Flexibility and adaptability;
- Persistence during task processing;
- Quality and security awareness;
