Financial Expertise Sought

As a Senior Financial Analyst IFRS at BIRKENSTOCK GROUP B.V. & CO. KG, you will utilize your IFRS expertise to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our international subsidiaries. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the monthly close runs smoothly, preparing consolidated financial statements, handling intercompany reconciliations, and posting necessary entries. You will also manage provisions, accrual accounts, and import data from external accounting systems. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for all accounting matters, answering questions from auditors, resolving accounting issues, and working closely with other departments and subsidiaries. Furthermore, you will be in charge of the general ledger in national and international projects, such as the rollout of SAP S/4HANA.

Requirements

A degree in Business Administration or further qualifications as a certified accountant are required. Several years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly with IFRS, are a must. Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (nice-to-have), with a focus on the FI-AA module, are also necessary. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required, and German (at least B1 needed) and Spanish are a big plus. You should be a team player who enjoys building relationships and working in a reliable, goal-oriented way.
