About the Role

Carnival Corporation and plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our Controlling/FP&A department. As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, reliable data, and analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support finance teams with organizational activities, reporting, and metrics in a timely and accurate manner
  • Partner with the finance team and Brands Controlling/FP&A groups to collaborate on business reviews, metrics, and goals
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions; develop and control key performance indicators
  • Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
  • Identify and investigate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work on corporate, local, or brand projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Review and design finance procedures to optimize and improve effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in finance, management, controlling, or accounting or a related field
  • Strong experience in developing financial reports, metrics, and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels
  • Poweful Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory. Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, QlikView, and Power BI is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication and to drive projects across an organization
  • Very good English (English is our company's official language). Any other additional language is a plus
