Job Summary

Societas is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee our European production operations. As a key leader, you will collaborate with premium material suppliers across Europe to coordinate production processes for a wide variety of collections and partnerships, including cutting-edge sportswear, ensuring precision and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Lead the sourcing of top-tier fabrics, trims, and packaging materials from suppliers across Europe.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Manage the procurement and logistics of production materials, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
  • Production Planning: Develop technical drawings and production worksheets to guide production teams.
  • Production Cycle Management: Plan, organize, and manage the entire production cycle across multiple European sites to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication of production updates and changes with suppliers and partners.
  • Quality Control: Uphold stringent quality control standards, monitoring product quality throughout production.
  • Collaboration: Ensure continuous collaboration with manufacturers and production partners across Europe to maintain smooth operations.
  • Production Support: Support the sportswear production process from design through dispatch, including assisting with shoots and promotions.
  • Travel: Regularly travel to production sites throughout Europe to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Formal education in textiles or an equivalent qualification in the apparel or sportswear industry.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management or product development, with experience in sportswear.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Language: Business fluency in German and English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Leadership: A proactive, self-driven leader with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple production sites across Europe.
