About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team at zooplus SE. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our industry through digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Overall Product Architecture Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a comprehensive product architecture vision that aligns with the company's enterprise vision.
  • Supply Chain Architecture and Design: Develop architecture and design for supply chain capabilities and initiatives to improve cost, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations, in line with business goals and financial objectives.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Analyze and translate business requirements into architectural blueprints using standard enterprise solutions.
  • Optimal Approach Determination: Determine the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives.
  • Enterprise Architecture Visibility: Provide visibility of the Enterprise/Domain architecture and validate associated development efforts.
  • Legacy-to-Enterprise Transformation: Plan and lead legacy-to-Enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Product Evaluation and Assessment: Review and assess new Enterprise products and offerings against business needs.
  • Guidelines and Policies: Drive guidelines & policies to govern product development efforts.
  • Software Architecture Quality: Ensure overall quality of the software architecture for relevant product areas.
  • Architecture Blueprints: Create architecture blueprints.
  • IT and Technology Expertise: Maintain overall state and foresee future needs in IT and technology.
  • Hands-on Technical Expertise: Help product teams in their daily work and maintain hands-on technical expertise.

  • Inventory and Warehouse Management: Design and implement inventory and warehouse management strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Inbound and Outbound Logistics: Develop and implement inbound and outbound logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Network Planning and Transport Planning: Design and implement network planning and transport planning strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Fulfillment, Transport, and Last Mile Management: Develop and implement fulfillment, transport, and last mile management strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Supply Chain and Logistics Expertise: Excellent working experience in architecting and designing supply chain, logistics, and master data capabilities and solutions.
  • IT or Software Engineering Background: IT or software engineering background with experience in architecting and designing supply chain planning systems.
  • Architectural Role Experience: Good working experience in the architectural role, including solution design, integration, and governance.
  • Supply Chain Planning Systems: Experience architecting and designing supply chain planning systems, including Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, SAP-IBP, etc.
  • Data Transmission Technologies: Excellent knowledge of data transmission technologies, including EDI, API, SFTP, etc.
  • Technical Leadership Skills: Excellent technical leadership skills with experience communicating to C-Suite leadership internally and externally.
  • Architecture Approaches and Technology Alternatives: Excellent knowledge of architecture approaches and technology alternatives.
  • Problem Domain Understanding: Excellent ability to understand problem domains from both business and technical perspectives and design solutions for them.
  • Business Domain Expertise: Profound knowledge in the applied business domain.
  • Organizational, Communication, and Conflict Resolution Skills: Profound organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Project and Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated knowledge in driving project and agile methodologies.
  • Sharing Knowledge: Passionate for sharing knowledge with others.
  • E-commerce Experience: Previous working experience in e-commerce is a plus.
