Job Title: Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Portfolio team at Siemens AG. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing system architectures that integrate various energy management systems, such as microgrids, demand response systems, flexibility management, and energy monitoring offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing system architectures that integrate various energy management systems
  • Identifying and evaluating appropriate technologies, frameworks, and protocols for energy management systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of energy management solutions
  • Driving the strategic roadmap and tactical product execution for an integrated product portfolio setup
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of tasks from all businesses and workstreams
  • Managing internal and external collaborators
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in energy management technologies
  • Coordinating portfolio alignment and development, and orchestrating portfolio requirement management
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, software architecture, or similar
  • Many years of professional experience in system architecture in the field of digital energy management offerings
  • Initiative and ability to contribute own ideas and put them into practice
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to identify obstacles and challenges
  • Reliable communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, interact closely with customers, and share expertise with non-tech people
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages such as German a plus
