Senior Desktop Engineer

Certara is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our desktop infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement desktop infrastructure solutions, including Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Intune.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
- 4+ years of experience in desktop engineering, with a focus on Windows operating systems and management.
- Excellent technical skills, including scripting (PowerShell, WMI, VBScript), troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Experience with large-scale desktop deployment tools and techniques, as well as IT maintenance operations and vulnerability remediation.
