Digital Technology Project Manager

E.ON Energy Markets GmbH is a leading company in the energy trading market, and we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will lead the technical delivery of programs and projects for our Energy Markets function, incubate and scale new solutions, and actively support the development and scaling of our Energy Markets products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading technical delivery of programs and projects
  • Incubating and scaling new solutions
  • Supporting development and scaling of Energy Markets products
  • Assessing new technologies for cost and value optimization
  • Communicating and networking around technologies and business use cases

Requirements include:

  • University degree in computer science, data science, or economics
  • Several years of experience as a project or program lead
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in energy trading, knowledge of wholesale energy markets, portfolio management, or mathematical modeling
  • Advanced programming skills, knowledge of Azure cloud ecosystem, and deep knowledge of Machine Learning methods
  • Excellent communication skills in English, good command of another European language
  • Integrative personality with willingness to establish close relationships
